GLORYFY x Trailrun

Client: Gloryfy Unbreakable

Location: Graz, Austria

Year: 2025

Talents: Moritz Pilz, Hannah Schuller

A spontaneous evening shoot in the mountains turned into an unexpected real-world test for the gloryfy G28 sports sunglasses and the brand’s signature TRF (Transient Frame Resonance) technology.

The original idea was simple: photograph the glasses during sunset and explore how the lenses perform beyond ideal daylight conditions. Instead of ending the session after golden hour, the shoot continued further into blue hour and eventually almost complete darkness—exactly the kind of environment where most sports eyewear usually reaches its limits, but the G28 was so good we actually forgot to take it down .

What started as a quick product shoot slowly evolved into a proper field test. Somewhere on the descent, conversation became more important than navigation and we ended up taking the wrong route down the mountain (again).

This shoot and pushing the limits of the gloryfy G28 outdoor sunglasses was a good amount of fun - especially combining golden our with some blue hour blurry images and experimenting on long exposed flash photography and flash portraits.

PS: the G28 is now my daily companion, when commuting to work by bike - no matter the weather and no matter the light/darkness.
