Home is where the mountains are. This is especially true for this little place, the Ahorn Alm, on the back side of the Kasberg Ski resort with the most spectacular view of the Totes Gebirge. Visiting in April is a good time of the year, when most of the paths are already snow-free, but the distant peaks are still beautifully covered in white.
